In 1901, November the first…
Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Richmond College (now University of Richmond) upon the foundation of virtue, diligence and brotherly love. Stating that “This Fraternity will be different,” those 12 men created a brotherly bond that would grow and evolve for years to come!

When was the last time you had a pasty?
June 28, 2015
Has it been a while? Do you remember the fulfilling joy of buying them at Jim’s and popping them in the microwave? Or what about having them at career fair?
Here’s a freelance writer’s take on her journey across the Pasty kingdom, embracing all that is rutabega and beef. Some of my favorite takeaways – if you are health concious, cut it in half. You never have enough ketchup packets for your first pasty. If there’s anything green in it, it ceases to be a pasty. Enjoy the article here.
Oh and by the way, can’t stand being without a pasty any while longer? We’ve got your back – recipe right here!

The 51st state… in the great north!
April 23, 2015
Every once in a while, there’s an article out there about some state, dissatisfied with life as it stands (or at least its loudest residents are) and they’re going to secede. First Alaska… then Texas… then everyone seems to settle down and as always, life goes on.
What about the Yoop? What do the Yoopers feel about it, already being so far away as is? I think this blog entry will shed some light on it. Also, I love it that Yoopers always have some sort of map, ready at hand. Whether its their two hands or a hat they are wearing…

In honor of National Beer Day!
April 7, 2015
In honor of National Beer Day, we’d like to get something special on the blog! Forgot to mark your calendars? It’s April 7th here in the states, unless you are British, then you missed your chance yesterday (known here in the States as New Beer’s Eve).
All this being said, we’d like to hear about your favorite beer. We’re including the KBC mix and a couple others. Forgot about KBC? Were they never here while you were? Familiarize yourself with them the next time you are up!
